Juxtapose '08 - Ain't What You Suppose!

Hello there!

Together with my enthusiastic team of energetic and fun-loving individuals, we would like to cordially invite YOU to join us in Juxtapose 2008. A camp brought to you by National University of Singapore Students' Union Volunteer Action Committee (NVAC).


Juxtapose 2008 – Ain’t What You Suppose aims to be a platform of public outreach for volunteerism towards youths. It aims to increase the social-learning experience of youth participants through an array of direct voluntary activities, as well as team building activities, thus synergizing the awareness of social services in a fun and engaging arena.

Sounds boring? I'll tell you a little about what we are going to do..

• NVAC Projects Showcase - It's not just some boring showcase. We assure you! We like to do it in a more fun and engaging manner. Hopefully, bring you some laughters.
  
  
• Empthay Challenge - All tired form the hustle and bustle of life ain't we? It's time we slow down our pace, look around and "feel" for those around us that need our attention and assistance.
  
  
• In Search of Love - A little way of showing our love for you. Psst! Think Amazing Race style!
  
  
• Movie Screening - We're throwing in a lot more than just popcorns, chips and soda. No worries babes [perhaps a minority of guys too] it's not a horror movie. We promise!
  
  
• "Jungle Adventure" - To the Zoo with MINDS - When was the last time you've been to Zoo? Eons ago, I heard? Why not make this visit a more meaningful one? You'll never guess how much this simple trip means to the little hearts.
  


• Joy of Sharing - What's a better way to share than through words, photos and videos? No! We're not thinking Edison! It's definitely going to be something more meaningful than that!
  
  
• Urban Warfare - We are a "little" crazy at times. But as long as we have fun, who cares, yes?
